Custom Aluminum Formwork

Custom Means Custom — There Is No “Close Enough”

Aluminum formwork is not an off-the-shelf product. Every building has its own floor plan, floor height, wall thickness, door and window openings, and slab step-down positions. Formwork ships one-to-one, building-specific. “Custom” breaks down into three stages:

Detailed design. Once the construction drawings and structural plans are in hand, the technical team lays out the entire formwork system in a BIM environment — panel assignment, layout, numbering — with each panel mapped to a specific location. Corner treatment, kicker board retention, staircase irregular panels, all settled before drawings leave the office. Hangtou Anping holds two relevant patents here — “an aluminum formwork with adjustable corner angles” and “an aluminum formwork for easy assembly and disassembly” — meaning corner-node optimization and stripping efficiency are baked into the product, not bolted on after.

Production. After design sign-off, aluminum profiles go through cutting, punching, welding, grinding, and pre-assembly. The differentiator here isn’t how advanced the equipment is; it’s tolerance control. Panel flatness, joint gap, pin-hole deviation — all in the millimeter range. The company runs a 15,000-ton-per-year aluminum profile processing line in Sanyuan County, with 130 million RMB invested. Profiles are cut in-house, not sourced as semi-finished stock.

Pre-assembly inspection. Every set of formwork undergoes a full-floor pre-assembly before shipment, with the client and contractor on site for sign-off. Problems caught here get fixed here. Once this gate is cleared, nobody on site is dealing with “panels don’t line up, tie rods won’t fit” arguments.

What the Patents Actually Do

Among the company’s 13 patents, four or five are directly tied to aluminum formwork. Two worth a closer look:

“A High-Strength Formwork Panel” (utility model, granted January 2026) — adds longitudinal and transverse stiffeners to the base panel, boosting flexural strength and overall rigidity without increasing panel thickness. For high-rise residential, where concrete lateral pressure during pours is no joke, a panel that holds its shape is table stakes.

“An Aluminum Formwork with Adjustable Corner Angles” — solves the micro-adjustment problem for internal and external corner panels during installation. Traditional corner panels are fixed-angle; when the structure deviates on site, crews end up wedging timber scraps into the gap. This design gives corner panels a degree of adjustment, saving the chiseling and patching work downstream.

“An Aluminum Formwork for Easy Assembly and Disassembly” — reworks the slot-and-lock structure for easier stripping, meshing better with the early stripping system. Panels come off clean, turnover cycles add up.

Proven on Real Projects

From the second half of 2025 through now, Hangtou Anping has landed several meaningful contracts:

– Yan’an Energy Industry Service Base (Yanchang Petroleum production and living support project), Plot P3-12 — tendered by CCCC Second Highway Engineering No.3 Co., aluminum formwork leasing, awarded at 6.87 million RMB.

– Shaanxi Construction No.5 Group, No.2 Branch, consolidated aluminum formwork leasing framework procurement** — an annual framework contract, signaling the company has cleared supplier qualification within the Shaanxi Construction ecosystem.

– Dongsanyao Residential South Zone EPC DK2 Project — a large-scale resettlement housing project in Xi’an with substantial formwork demand and high standards.

– Baihualin Guanlan (North Zone) Project — another residential package under CCCC Second Highway Engineering No.3 Co.

These projects span different general contractors and different project types. Winning them consecutively says the product and service delivery side is holding up.

Service Model

Aluminum formwork doesn’t end at the sale. Hangtou Anping runs a “leasing plus technical support” model:

– The warehousing and logistics center in Lantian Industrial Park covers over 30,000 square meters, with stocking capacity built for peak supply periods.

– The marketing and R&D center in Xixian New District collaborates with universities on reinforcement accessories and bracing system development.

– On-site technical supervisors are deployed from the first-floor assembly through standard-floor cycling, overseeing installation and stripping throughout.

The logic is straightforward: formwork is a semi-finished product; assembly quality determines the finished concrete result. Shipping panels without following through on site — and then dumping every problem on the construction crew — happens far too often in this trade.

Bottom Line

Hangtou Anping’s custom aluminum formwork boils down to three things: detailed design that digests the drawings thoroughly, production that keeps tolerances locked in, and field service that stays on top of installation. Get those three right, and a 30-story residential tower can push 25 to 30 turnover cycles without reconditioning. Some can’t. That’s a different conversation.
